Super Bowl MVP Odds
The following is a list of players and their odds to win Super Bowl XLVII. The list was compiled from a few online sportsbooks and getting data from Las Vegas.
At first glance many people would assume that the safest bet to make would be selecting either Colin Kaepernick or Joe Flacco, as they’re the quarterbacks of both Super Bowl teams and typically their performance will make or break the outcome of this year’s big game. Although if you were to go back to the start of the season and say that Kaepernick and Flacco were going to be battling it out in Super Bowl, you get laughed at.
Seven of the previous twelve Super Bowl MVP winners have been quarterbacks, although Ray Lewis did win the MVP award 12 years ago. Ray Ray is one of only eight players on the defense side of the ball to have ever won the Super Bowl MVP award and seeing from how he’s been playing lately, Lewis at 7 to 1 isn’t that bad of an idea.
As a wildcard bet, I like wide receiver Torry Smith at 20 to 1 and tight end Vernon Davis at 18 to 1
